ABOUT ME
I’ve always been fascinated with how sounds are created. Why does blowing into a mouthpiece in one instrument create one sound, and blowing into the mouthpiece of another creates a totally different sound? How did someone discover combining particular frequencies of pitch could stimulate emotions that could bring an audience to tears? Why does feeling the sound resonating inside my chest at a concert make me feel so ALIVE?
In my life, I’ve been fortunate to have access to such a wide range of musical experiences that has allowed me to explore and discover the answers to these questions and more. My mission throughout my career in music has been simple: I want to bring that feeling of being alive to others.
I never imagined where my career would have taken me. During my first internship with the Detroit Jazz Festival, I saw my dream come alive before my eyes. Seeing the audience dancing and clapping to the music had me hooked. Since then, I have been fortunate to take part in many events that bring people from all walks to life together over one common love: music.
